Many exciting activities are coming up at Walt Disney World; some of them to name would include Dapper Day and Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours. One of the popular experiences that we were recently a part of was runDisney. Here, we are going to share the dates of runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend.

Well, the Disney Princess Half Marathon and Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend events are making people flock to WDW. It is an exciting opportunity to race throughout the magical property.

How to be a part of runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend?

If you couldn’t be a part of the one we just attended, don’t be disheartened as there are more to look forward to!

The upcoming runDisney event has already been announced, and the dates are out! It is going to be a spring event that will have a special surprise for the guests. So, the event will go the way it traditionally does, but add some remarkable insights into it!

To brighten up the 50th-anniversary celebrations of Walt Disney World, the race will take place for over four days. The event will be held from March 31, 2022, to April 3, 2022.

What to expect?

The Springtime Surprise Weekend 2022 will include:

1. Sunrise Yoga

The first event will start on March 31 at 5:30 am. Participants will say “Namaste” and begin the magical weekend fun of sports and fun.

The event will start from the Cinderella Castle and kickstart your athletic weekend with some yoga postures.

The bookings for the event will open on December 9, 2021, at 10 am.

The price of the registration is $95 till February and $105 post-March, 2022.

2. Expedition Everest 5k

Come and be a part of something you just missed – the nighttime 5K race along with a scavenger hunt. The difference is that this time the hunt will be a part of the race and not separately. The event will be held at the Animal Kingdom.

It will start at 10 pm on March 31, 2022.

General registration for the event starts from December 9, 2021, post 10 am. While for Club runDisney Gold & Platinum Registration begins from December 7, 10 am.

The charges for booking the event are $100 till February 28 and $110 in March.

3. Race for the Taste 10k

Come and be a part of the latest Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure as you participate in the 10K Race for the Taste at EPCOT.

The event date is April 2, 2022, and will start at 5 am.

People can avail of Club runDisney Gold & Platinum Registration and book on December 7 or after December 9 through general registration. Booking begins post 10 am.

The cost of participation is $135 till February 28, and $145 post this date.

4. The Tower of Terror 10-Miler

The last day will include the longest race covering 10 miles. But it will start early morning and not at night, unlike other years. Participants will cover the entire area of Walt Disney World Resort and have the most magical experience depending on their stamina.

People can avail of Club runDisney Gold & Platinum Registration and book on December 7 or after December 9 through general registration. Bookings begin post 10 am.

The cost of participation is $190 till February 28 and $200 in March 2022.

Final thoughts

If you want to be a part of all the racing events, you can purchase a combined package deal that will charge $445 till February 28 and $455 in March. People who cannot make it to Florida can be a part of this experience virtually!
