Disney+ is all set to introduce Muppets Mayhem, an all-new original series. If you are familiar with The Muppets, this will be an exciting ride. ABC Signature will produce this Disney series alongside The Muppets Studio.

What is The Muppets Mayhem?
The highlight of the show is The Electric Mayhem Band, which is to record an album for the first time ever! Lilly Singh will be an integral part of the musical show and will star as Nora. Her character is a human (not Muppet) form of junior A&R executive who will manage the Muppet band.
The band will have Dr. Teeth on keyboards, Zoot on saxophone, Lips on the trumpet, Animal on drums, and Floyd Pepper on base. For vocals, Dr. Teeth, Janice, and Floyd Pepper will sing along.
Adam F. Goldberg from ‘The Goldbergs’ fame created the series alongside Bill Barretta and Jeff Yorkes. The Disney characters have significance as created by Jim Henson.
Bill and Adam are also the executive producers, while Jeff is the co-executive. Further, this executive producer team includes Kris Eber, David Lightbody, and Michael Bostick.
What to expect from the show?
Ayo Davis, the President of Disney Branded Television, stated his excitement about the show while expressing how The Muppets are known for creativity and exclusivity. He also said that Disney is glad to have Yorkes, Goldberg, and Barretta together for this project.
The President of ABC Signature, Jonnie Davis, stated that Goldberg has always loved The Muppets and is glad to play along with Bill – an experienced Muppet performer. He said that the show was a dream come true, primarily because of having Jeff and Bill.
The Muppets Mayhem is a fresh take on a musical series, which has got fans excited. The first streamer was released during Halloween 2021 with the special Muppets Haunted Mansion.
