Epcot eggstravaganza
Date: March 31 to April 30
Although this event did not begin in April, it continues throughout the month, so it still counts! Search for Disney-themed eggs across EPCOT to put your scavenger skills to the test. The map and stickers are available for $9.99 at specific merchandising shops, and once you’ve found them all, you can turn your map in for a prize!
Dapper Day events
Date: April 30 to May 1
For this fantastic fashion event, don your swankiest fashion sense (and a transatlantic accent)! Guests that attend this event frequently go “all-out” and dress in vintage clothing from head to toe as a celebration of all things Disney and style and a reference to the Dapper Dans. On April 30, the event will take place at EPCOT, while on May 1, you can participate in the event or admire the fashion at Hollywood Studios.
Starlight Safari returns to Animal Kingdom Lodge
Date: April 22
Disney’s one-and-only twilight tour is back! Guests who book this nighttime safari will board an open-sided vehicle equipped with night vision goggles. Besides, over 30 kinds of African animals will greet them there.
Earth Week in the Animal Kingdom
Date: April 18 to April 24
Every year on April 22, the animal-centric park commemorates Earth Day with a week of special events and experiences across the park, including the Animation Experience at Conservation Station.
Expedition Everest reopens
Expected timing: Mid-April
Although Disney hasn’t provided a specific date for this event, the restoration of Everest was expected to be completed by the middle of April – you can bet we’ll be watching for updates and sharing the news once we’re all allowed to ride it again.
Disney’s Hollywood studios are extending evening hours
Start date: April 13
Extended evening hours are a bonus available only to deluxe Disney Resort hotel guests, who can enjoy the park for a limited amount of time with fewer people. Extended evening hours at Hollywood Studios will run from 9 pm until 11 pm on April 13th!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios closes early
Date April 5
Time: 6pm
This park’s regular operating hours are 9 am to 9 pm. However, Disney parks occasionally close early for Cast members or other activities. If you’re visiting Hollywood Studios on April 6th, keep in mind that you’ll only be able to stay until 5 pm.
