It is time to check out Disney World Events that are going to be part of the schedule this month:
Star Wars Celebrations (May 4-31)
While it’s not a Disney World event, what better way to commemorate the unofficial “May the Fourth Be With You” Day than in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge?
Take in the sights and sounds of Batuu, eat a Ronto Wrap, sip some green and blue milk, and talk to other Star Wars enthusiasts about your passion.
While the main event is over already, you will get the Star Wars vibe to continue until May 31, especially with a great food selection!
Early closing of the Magic Kingdom (May 3-May 15)
If you were planning on visiting Magic Kingdom on these dates, you should arrive as soon as the park opens or schedule another day. Because on both days, the original Disney World park will close at 4:30 pm for private parties. You can also get a Park Hopper ticket to visit another park after Magic Kingdom closes.
Farmer’s Feast introduction of the summer menu (May 22)
Beginning May 22, this EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival Booth will transition to its summer menu. The menu changes depending on what ingredients are available in each season, and this month we’ll be seeing some summer flavors.
Gear up to taste some delicious seared Barbecue Pork Tenderloin with Herb Butter, Grapefruit Vinaigrette, Summer Succotash, and fresh melons.
There will also be Tomato and Cornbread Panzanella with Fresh Basil and Burrata. Moreover, the dessert menu is exotic with Watermelon Curd with Feta Cheesecake, Pickled Watermelon Rind, Compressed Watermelon, Watermelon Caramel, etc.
Enjoy the Hoop-Dee-Do Musical Event (May 26)
Guests can make reservations for this hootin’ and hollerin’ good-time dinner performance on May 26, even though the act won’t be back until June 23rd.
This excellent performance will undoubtedly book up quickly after such a long absence. If you’ve been waiting for what seems like an eternity, mark your calendar. Also, make those reservations as soon as possible.
GoG (Garden of the Galaxies) as part of Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT (May 27)
Guests can make reservations for this hootin’ and hollerin’ good-time dinner performance on May 26, even though the act won’t be back until June 23.

H2O Glow in the Typhoon Lagoon returns (May 28)
The after-hours event was missing from Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park since its 2020 closure. However, things seem to head a positive change in May. Guests can experience customized decor, DJ dance parties, specialty food items, glow wristbands, and more on select nights from May 28 to August 27. You may purchase tickets on the Disney World website right now.
