Tips to note about Disney World capacity

As we are all aware, Disney World is celebrating the completion of an amazing 50 years. Hence, the park’s chances of reaching its maximum limits are pretty high all the time.

Furthermore, as we have already discussed, Disney World sends back guests if they reach their maximum capacity of guests.

Therefore, the chances of them not letting you inside the park if they reach the capacity are huge possibilities.

As said before, these situations can occur more during the holiday months. For example, during the months of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year, the crowd is sure to go crazy.

We are rather sure that you would never want to come across such a situation, would you?

Hence, we have jotted down five amazing tips that you must follow to avoid being in similar situations. Please keep reading to know what they are.

Get to the park during the early hours

Hands down, the best and the most effective way to ensure that you get to enter the park you wish to is to get there during the early hours of the day.

Since you have booked your vacation and are already there at Disney World, you are very likely to do everything to be there before Disney World capacity reaches, right?

Trust us when we tell you that getting there early is the easiest way to ensure the same. The logic is rather extremely simple. The crowd in the early hours begins to get busy slowly.

Hence, the chances of you entering the park with ease are extremely high. However, in the later hours, the Disney World capacity might get full, making them turn guests away.

If you are a morning person, you might not be troubled with the thought of being there in the early hours of the day. However, the problem shall arise for you if you are one of those who do not like waking up in the morning.

But, taking some trouble to wake up in the morning is better than a day getting wasted just for sleeping some extra hours, is it not?

Hence, pull yourself up from your bed and ensure to be there at the park before the gate opens for the guests. For that, ensure to know about the park opening timings from beforehand. Ensure to be there at least an hour and a half before the gate opens.

Ensure not to leave the park

We all tend to leave the park for reasons more than one. It could be heading back to our hotels or resorts to take a small break.

Well, the chances for this are high because everyone gets tired of all the hopping. Therefore, they seek some time to unwind and relax.

Another reason for leaving the park could also be because they have to head to a restaurant to grab some food. Whatever the reason may be, it is best not to hop out of the park on days when there is a lot of crowds. This is because if and when you would want to hop back in, you might not be allowed to if the park is full.

Yes, you read that correctly. It is very natural for the park to reach its maximum capacity on high-demand days. Hence, whoever comes after the maximum capacity is reached would have to stay back. Thus, we are sure that you would not want to stay out of the park, especially when you have already been inside the park once.

However, if you have a park hopper ticket, you might still get a chance. If the park reaches its maximum capacity, you would still be allowed to enter through Phase – 2. However, beyond that is something that would depend completely on your luck.

Stay at one of the Disney World hotels or resorts

Since the capacity of Disney World would be packed at the said times, it would be the best thing to choose to stay at a resort closer to the parks.

Although we do understand that staying at one of the hotels away from the park has its own perks, it certainly would not be the best decision to do so. This is completely because if you are staying at a resort or a hotel far from the park, it will take you a lot of time to be at the park.

As we have already mentioned, the best way to ensure that you get to enter the park on an otherwise packed day is to be there in the earliest hours possible. Hence, it is always recommended to stay at one of the Disney resorts or hotels.

Even when you stay at one of the Disney World hotels or resorts, ensuring that the hotel is not very far away from the Disney parks is important.

Well, the reason for the same is quite known. Since Disney World would be packed with crowds, it is needless to point out that the demand for Disney World transportation would be high too.

Hence, no matter what Disney World transportation you choose, you cannot ensure to be at the park on time. In this case, the best way is to book yourself a Uber or a Lyft to be at the park.

Another best way to ensure that you reach the park on time is to book a resort or a hotel that is closer to the park. That way, you would have to waste no time relying on any of the Disney World transportation.

Make sure to book at least something

As we have already discussed, guests are not allowed inside the park anymore when Disney World full capacity is reached. But, did you know that there are certain other ways of getting inside the park?

The first of these things is if you have yourself a Make Your Way package. If you have one, it is extremely understandable that you have a multi-day park ticket.

This package also ensures that you have bookings on one of the Disney resorts or hotels. It also ensures that you are making use of Disney World transportation only. In this case, the chances of you being asked not to enter the park are extremely less.

But what if you do not have a Make Your Way package? In that case, having at least one reservation would ensure your entry to the park through Phase 3. Therefore, ensure to have at least one reservation.

It could be a boutique reservation, a restaurant reservation, or even a tour reservation. That way, you can ensure that you get to at least enter the park and that a day of yours does not get wasted.

Make sure to have a park hopper with a multi-day ticket

If you have read the second point, you will be aware of how we have asked you not to leave the park once you have managed to enter it. If the park has reached its maximum capacity, you will not be allowed to re-enter the park.

However, there could be many reasons you would have to step out of the park. Thus, to ensure that you can enter the park again, ensure you have a park hopper with a Multi-day ticket.

Having a park hopper with a Multi-day ticket ensures that you get the chance to enter the park from Phase 1 and Phase 2. The good thing is that you can enter even if the park’s capacity is full.

Now, if you are at Disney World on the days when there are huge chances of it reaching the maximum capacity, we are sure that you would want to get yourself a park hopper with a Multi-day ticket.
