Here are some important things you should keep in mind before heading to Savi’s workshop:
- Only one guest and one builder can come together to join the workshop after buying a ticket
- The guest will not be able to try the building, only the builder will have that opportunity
- One of the two should be above 14 years old
- Five-year-olds and above are the best-recommended people inside the workshop, accompanied by someone above 14
- No early payment is required, once you arrive at the place, you will then have to pay.
- A carrying case comes with the purchase
- If you are interested in any additional customizations or props, they are available at Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities and you can buy them from there
- There are no discounts on these customized Disney lightsabers. So, even if you hold an Annual Passholders ticket, you cannot ask for any discount.

Once you enter the workshop, you will meet the Gatherer, who will then introduce you to the different themes of the handles of the lightsaber. From there, you can choose the one that attracts you the most. Check out the themes below:

Elemental Nature
This theme particularly is the embodiment of Force. It is an energy that all living things have created, including Rancor teeth, Cartusion Whale Bones, and Brylark trees.
Power and Control
If you incline the darker aspects of life, this theme suits you the best. The power and control themed hilt have remnants from abandoned temples and Sith homelands. Dark warriors used this.
Peace and Justice
Ultimately, the fourth choice of the hilt is peace and justice. Built from the crashed starships’ scrapped material, this particular choice evokes the essence of a bygone era. So, if you love the silence of antiquities, this can be a must for you.
Box and the making of Disney Lightsaber
The box will contain two sets of switches and activation plates, two pommel caps, two emitters, four sleeves, and one hilt.
Once you have selected the kyber crystal, you will have to build the hilt. Once you build the lightsaber, Master Yoda will arrive in the room to make a connection between the builder and their lightsaber.
Before departing, however, you will have to deactivate it. However, you can carry it back to your home. For that, you will get a saber sheath.
