So, even if they cost a little more, it is worth the bucks. To the delight of Disney dining fans, Victoria and Albert’s Restaurant is set to return to Grand Floridian Resort on July 28, 2022. Guests can start reservations now, as booking began on June 20, 2022.

Here are all the things to expect from the return of the Victoria and Albert Disney dining experience:

Interior changes

Many changes have been made during the renovation period. The dining room now has murals in the traditional Victorian style.

The wallpapers represent a classic elegance and the touches of a garden. The Chef’s Table and Queen Victoria’s Room are still there.

You can either call (407) WDW-DVNA or (407) 939-3862 or make advanced online reservations. Guests should not be younger than 10 years, and the dress code is semi-formal or formal attire.

The Chef’s Tasting Menu is the newest vigor of the refreshed restaurant. The starting price is 4295 per head, with which you can take the optional wine at $150 per head.

Dishes such as Pernod before Blanc, Colorado Lamb with violet mustard, pickled blueberry, and line-caught turbot with fennel fondue are the newest attractions.

The savory menu also includes the best beef in Disney World. If you love beef, you should try Wagyu A-5 Miyazaki with potato rosti and sauce romesco.

Those who love chocolate will also find their abode in this restaurant. The Spectrum of Chocolate, an ombre having sourced chocolates with vanilla, Grand Marnier, and buttermilk, is a creamy delight!

The MasterChef

The grand mastermind behind this exquisite cuisine is Matthew Sowers. With experience in Disney Dream and Fantasy regarding menu curation, the great man has served 15 years at Victoria and Albert’s.

The opening team also includes the Pastry Chef Kristine Farmer, who has 30 years of experience. She leads the pastry team, including the restaurants in the limelight, Disney’s Fairytale Weddings, and a gingerbread house.

The leader of these MasterChefs is Executive Chef Kevin Ching who is responsible for overseeing all that is cooking inside the kitchen of Disney’s Grand Floridian Restaurant & Spa.

The maître d’ hotel is Sommelier Israel Perez, who has his award-winning team to provide special and minute attention to every little detail of the dining experience.

He has had the experience of creating memorable and mesmerizing experiences for guests at numerous world-class restaurants across Walt Disney World Resort.

The Grand Floridian Resort has been undergoing updates as well. The Enchanted Rose Lounge is the newest addition, and Citricos has a new makeover along with the reopening of the Grand Floridian Spa. However, the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are yet to open.
