If you are a Disney veteran or a first-timer, it is inevitable to come across the My Disney Experience app. This app helps you make bookings and ease the process for Genie+ and Lightning Lane usage. The app also comes in handy for booking your favorite meals and receiving them right on time!

The app helps you get through to your rooms and theme parks if you stay over at Disney World. To add to this, you can use the new car locator feature too!

New car locator feature

Disney is constantly updating the My Disney Experience app to make everyone’s visit to the magical world smoother and easier. Sponsored by State Farm, you now have a car locator feature on this app.

Once you come to Disney World and park your car, you can use the app feature to record your parking position. You must keep the location feature on to ensure the app records exactly where it is. Once you return after your entire day of fun-time, you can quickly navigate where you parked.

Be it large parking spaces or innumerable vehicles, finding your drive amidst the crowd can be daunting. Moreover, when you can’t walk any longer and want to drive home and crash, you’d hate looking around the parking space to find your car.

How to use the app?

When you reach any of the parking lots of the theme parks, open your app, and record the position by clicking on ‘Save Vehicle Location.’ You will require your location and Bluetooth feature to find the spot, which is accurate!

You can also manually enter the location if that suits you better. For this, the app needs you to share which theme park your car is parked in and add the row accordingly.

Note that this option is not only available for the prime parking areas but also for Blizzard Beach, Sports Complex, Typhoon Lagoon, and more.

The same feature will soon be a part of the Disneyland app for the California theme park. However, we do not yet know when that’s going to roll out!
