Disney World September 2022 events
Disney World has announced the dates of many events that guests can check out! Visiting Disney World in September is like a magical adventure. There are so many things for you to do and experience! The first event is on 2nd September.
This is in the Liberty Square Riverboat. The spot had been closed to the public before this month. But they’ve just reopened it for people, and guests couldn’t be more surprised! This attraction is located at Magic Kingdom and was closed in mid-August due to maintenance and repairs.
Great Irish Hooley Music Fest!
The musical fest is one of the guests of the more popular event we are waiting for. The event takes place at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant.
Guests can find the restaurant at Disney Springs. Performers of every kind come to this fest and perform beautiful musical pieces.
People love to watch the festivities! It is the tenth year of the fest, so celebrations are in full swing. The event takes place from 2nd September to 5th September. New hooley whiskey and drinks are available at the pub. The pub opens from 10:30 am to 3 pm. They are open at weekends and on Monday.
Moonlight Magic
At Typhoon Lagoon, another kind of event awaits you. The Moonlight Magic is an exclusive event that Disney World offers Disney Vacation Club members.
Members also get exciting perks, discounts, and advantages in the parks. Moonlight Magic allows the members to access a park with some exclusive gifts. The bonus is available on 8th September. You can enjoy this benefit at Typhoon Lagoon’s water park.
Another big event is the Disney+ celebration day on 8th September. Disney has planned for something exciting to show up on everyone’s feeds.
Moreover, if you are a subscriber, you can enter the parks much earlier than others. You can go to any park at least 30 minutes before the time! How cool is that!
You will still need the passes and admission to the park before you go inside them early. Guest staying at Disney resorts which are also subscribers of Disney+, can enter the park a whopping hour early!
Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom at Disney World has lots of surprises for you! A bird show named Feathered Friends in Flight is a show that most people love to watch with their kids. But the thing is that this time, it is closed.
Though there are many themed restaurants that you can dine at, this bird show is not open to guests from 11th September to the 24th of the same month. Disney has said they are closed due to refurbishments, but they haven’t said anything else.
Annual Passholder News
