D23 Expo 2022 has some exciting announcements regarding Disney World and Disneyland! D23 is a fan club that has the official stamp from Disney.

D23 Expo at Anaheim

The official fan convention started in California, and Disney fans and press alike are waiting for brand news and changes that Disney might initiate across all its platforms.

Kernels of information are still filtering for a while. Most of the major announcements are supposed to come on Sunday. There has been news of transforming Splash Mountain at Disney World and Disneyland.

Replacing the excellent place is the fantastic Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. People can get a glimpse into what the new park is supposed to look like! So far, the attraction looks like a fun place with a water ride, bayou, and beautiful environment.

The theme of Princess and the Frog will fit perfectly in the pre-existing environment of Splash Mountain. People are excited to unveil the final look.

In 2024, Disney will complete the attraction. However, you can rejoice if you want to buy some Tiana-themed merch! That shop will open in supposedly a few weeks. You can go to the Tiana-themed shop at Disneyland in California.

Expo attendees in 2022 convention

If you attend the D23 Expo 2022, you are in for a treat! Not only will you get exclusive screening and behind-the-scenes goodies, but you also get to view the ‘Walt the Dreamer’ statue featured at EPCOT. EPCOT is also arranging for its newest experience – Journey of Water. Moana’s experience has a lot to do with this unique experience.

You will also get to view Te Fiti from Moana. There will also be a stream at 1:30 pm on Sunday ET, where you can get more scoops from D23.

Mickey’s Toontown model is also open for display to the attendees, which is expected to reopen to guests in 2023. People can look forward to the reopening of Mickey’s Toontown since a new attraction has been added to the list of beautiful attractions! Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is an interactive attraction destined to be popular with the guests when it begins!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

The new shop opening in New Orleans on 20th September is connected to the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Here, Tiana is helping her talented mother out! Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets will be a popular place when it opens, with people flocking there to check out the impressive clothes!

Goofy’s House Disneyland

Goofy’s House in Mickey’s Toonhouse is another colorful and candy-themed attraction for children! Kids will love visiting Goofy at his brightly-colored house, where the smell of caramel and cotton candies is everpresent! The attraction will creak and squeal, and children of all ages can have fun while they explore this interactive house!

CEO Bob Chapek has revealed some interesting things at D23. Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure is welcoming a new attraction! People can get excited to learn about a new story coming to their favorite campus, where they can interact with their beloved superheroes!
