Disney has continuously kept its fan hung at the edge whenever they saw the TRON Coaster under construction. This is one of the most awaited ride updates fans have been waiting for.

Finally, at D23 Expo, Josh D’ Amaro, the Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, & Products, declared that the opening time for the ride is in Spring 2023.

Most probably, the ride’s construction has finished because passengers were also voluntarily test-running it. Thus, the construction workers and Imagineers might take a few months to finish the landscaping and theming of the whole area.

3. CommuniCore Plaza and CommuniCore Hall

EPCOT is a seat of the sea of changes. Apart from Journey of Water, it is also seeing other changes. Ready to be inaugurated in 2023, CommuniCore Plaza and CommuniCore Hall are the two new places in EPCOT.

As we know, EPCOT is home to some of the best events and festivals in all of Disney World. Thus, these two zones will house some festival events and offer a ‘multi-use’ space.

While CommuniCore Hall is designed to be an indoor space, the CommuniCore Plaza is an outdoor space.

The first will house food experiences, galleries, exhibitions, and other indoor activities. It can also have areas designed for character meets, a mixology bar, and a demonstration kitchen. The outdoor space is mostly kept as a performance site for small or large concerts or other performances.

4. The Rest of World Celebration

Another update waiting to be inaugurated in 2023 is The Rest of World Celebration. It includes a Dreamers Point and some mesmerizing garden zone. Also, this will be the home to the newest statue of Walt Disney.

Figment, the cute little dragon will be the new center of attraction in the character meet and greet at EPCOT. It’s been years since the little dragon made a public appearance. So, the news of him coming back excited the audience.

The menu is currently set to be inspired by local cuisines of California. Let’s see what this restaurant’s menu will recharge new taste faculties.
