EPCOT 40-year celebrations officially begin as October 1 marks the anniversary date. It is also the date Disney World turns 51, so there is a lot of excitement brewing up in the magical world right now!

If you are wondering what’s new in EPCOT, you will have to wait until 2023 to get an idea. But a lot is going on as Disney gears up for the big day! Till then, let’s find out what’s new to eat at Disney!

New treats for EPCOT 40-year celebrations

Connections Café and Eatery

If you are going to eat at this restaurant, try the Liege Waffle. It will come on their menu on September 29 and last till October 3 only.

Choza de Margarita

For all hard drink lovers, you have a special drink to try at this venue starting September 30 onwards. Served in an exclusive Mexico 40 mug, the 40th Fiesta will be a fun thing to try.

Funnel Cake

Funnel Cake will exclusively serve you an EPCOT Celebration Funnel Cake to commemorate this event. It includes vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, 40th candies, and colorful sprinkles.

Sunshine Seasons

Care to try a Figment Sponge Cake between September 29 and October 3? This one’s made with honey-lime and sold as a mousse.

Teppan Edo

An EPCOT special Saketini is another item available between the 29th and 3rd, and you can get it at the Japan Pavilion. This new treat is a mix of butterfly pea flower and sake to depict the colorful night sky at this theme park.

Tokyo Dining

Along with the Saketini at Teppan Edo, you will get a new sushi bowl Kaisen Chirashi Don here at the Tokyo food hub.

Garden House

Try out the Sake Cocktail Flight that will feature Mount Fuji, Samurai, Violet Sake, and Tokyo Sunset all in one! This drink is also available between the 29th and the 3rd.

La Hacienda de San Angel

San Angel Inn and restaurant will include a Flan and Clarified Margarita for you to try. You can get these two from September 30 onwards.

The flan will come with vanilla custard garnished with blueberries, white chocolate, and whipped cream. The Margarita, on the other hand, will be a mix of orange liqueur, tequila, sweet syrup, lemon, and a glow cube. Both of them will have a touch of Mexico 40.

Nine Dragons Restaurant

September 29 and October 3 include most new treats. Here is another limited-time addition in the form of Dan Dan Noodles. The dish will include spicy pork blended with peanut butter, Sichuan sauce, cucumber, onion, sesame, and more.

Space 220

Finally, here is another little dish you could try between the 29th and 3rd, called Crema Catalana. It includes lemon snow, spicy ginger crumble, Vanilla cream custard and citrus flavors.

Final thoughts

The first week of October 2022 is the best time to come to Disney World due to the anniversary celebrations held throughout and EPCOT exclusively. Don’t miss out on all the fun while keeping your tastebuds happy!
